Transparency and Public Declarations
Norgine believes that relationships and collaborations between healthcare professionals and the pharmaceutical sector are beneficial. All Norgine’s consultancy payments to healthcare professionals, sponsorships to attend scientific meetings and congresses, and grants and donations to healthcare organisations in the UK are made in line with the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry and have been publically declared since 2013.
As of 2016, the ABPI has developed a publicly available searchable database, showing individual payments made by pharmaceutical companies to healthcare professionals and health organisations during the previous year. This database can be accessed by following the link www.disclosureuk.org.uk
